I just now found out of the removal of porn.
I am somewhat suprised. one of the reasons that most people came to sheezy was to get away from the level of restrictions leveled at DA. That is not to say that sheltering our youth is bad, or putting a cap on child pornography is bad. however you are equally correct. I write stories including sexual content but that is not to say I am an uneducated ignorant. I strive in life to be quite the opposite. I write satires leaning towards societal and political humor. I write poetry both freestyle and ryhming.
I will admit that I came to SA to post that which is unallowed at DA. However I have never lowered my artistic standard when my writing shifts from satire, poetry, or yaoi.
I am somewhat dissapointed by these turn of events, however there is no reason to take arms. It is very logical for a developing art site to cover its poverbial ass. It creates a protective clause against those who might take offense.
The solution is adaption and improvision not opinionated stances.
there will always be sites happy to take your porn, it is just a matter of finding them. what concerns me is those who wish to improve their uncouth works will have to look harder for constructive critique. uncouth or not it is still an expression of perspective and thus art.
